Registrations received after August 20th will include a $25 late fee.
You should register your child for the division that they intend to play in the spring 2022 season. League ages are noted above and should be based on your child’s age as of August 31, 2022 (LL age cut-off).
We will hold evaluation sessions for new players to the AAA and Majors divisions prior to the season to ensure kids are registered for the appropriate division and teams are formed evenly.
Fall Ball will begin no later than September 11th and end October 31st (8 weeks). There may be opportunities to schedule games the last week of August and first week of September as well. All games will be played on Saturdays / Sundays. Teams will play 1-2 games per weekend, dependent on weather. There will likely be no practices due to limited field availability during the week. Roster sizes will be increased as we understand kids are playing other sports in the Fall and scheduled may conflict.
Most or all games will be played in Longmeadow for the Majors, AAA, and AA Divisions, however there could be a possibility of playing a few games in neighboring towns if there’s a need based on the number of teams formed through registration. Intermediate and Senior divisions will play games in Longmeadow and in neighboring towns.
Fall ball is intended to be instructional and less competitive than the Spring season. There are no standings and rules will be put in place to encourage opportunities for more kids to have the chance to experience different positions. The goal is to continue to develop baseball skills and to teach the kids moving up a division the rules of the division they are moving into to accelerate their development for the Spring Season.
