11u Captures District 2

Down 1-0 in the bottom of the 5th facing tough Westfield pitching, 11U rallied to capture the district, 4-1. Ryan Aldrich had a clutch double and Mac Dunnirvine plated two insurance runs with a triple over the left fielder’s head. The Scorpion pitching duo of Craft and Walker limited Westfield to scattered hits and Walker closed it out.

Longmeadow finished the District 2 tournament 5-0. The team now moves on to the Section 1 tournament where they will face the winners of Districts 1, 3 & 4. The winner of this double elimination tournament earns the right to represent Section 1 in the State Tournament.
